• Oil colors:
  • Titanium White
  • Cadmium Yellow Light (optional)
  • Cadmium Yellow Medium
  • Cadmium Red Light
  • Alizarin Crimson
  • Ultramarine Blue
  • Pthalo Blue
  • Ivory Black
• Brushes:
  • #4, #6, #8 (depending on the brands, approximately ¼", ½" and 1")
  • They can be bristle brushes or softer ones like Galleria brand, or a synthetic sable substitute.
• Large Palette
  • It could be just a piece of glass about 16" x 20", with white paper taped to the back; or a wooden palette.
• Palette Knife
• Canvases or Masonite boards with two coats of gesso
  • A variety of sizes: small (5x7) to as large as you're comfortable with (16x20?)
• Linseed Oil or painting medium
  • I use Daniel Smith's Painting Medium for oils and Alkyds
• Empty tuna can for linseed oil
• Paper towels or paint rags
• Paper sack for trash
