Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in the Louisiana Art and Artists' Guild. We are pleased that you have chosen to invest in the future growth and cultural potential of the arts. The Guild is organized to serve the needs of its member investors through its volunteer staff. There are standing committees to organize activities for various projects and functions. Please indicate on the membership form any area you would like to volunteer and you will be contacted with more information. With your support, great things can be accomplished for the area and for the arts. We welcome your participation.

Board meetings are held the first Monday of every month at the Studio in the Park, 2490 Silverest Ave., beginning at 6:30pm. Membership meetings are periodical and are announced by email and in the newsletter. Informal gatherings are held at the Studio in the Park on Wednesdays from 10:00am - 4:00pm, and also on Sundays from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. We encourage you to become actively involved in the Guild and have fun at the same time.

Be sure to take advantage of your membership perks by enrolling in one of our various workshops and by displaying your work in one of our many exhibitions. Keep in mind that your LAAG membership also entitles you to a 10% discount at the Co-op Bookstore near LSU's campus.

Our membership year is from January to December. Returning members shoud pay their dues in January. We accept new members throughout the year. If you are joining late in the year (after September 1), dues for the remainder of the year are prorated at $20.
